Set on a 300-hectare farm, Bo Kouga Retreat provides spacious, self-catering cottages with Kouga Mountain views. There is a game camp with springbok and zebra, and a permanent waterfall for swimming.
Featuring a large covered terrace, each cottage has a lounge with TV, DVD player and wood-burning fireplace. Some date back to the 1860s, one is in a Cape Dutch style and another has a private garden.
All cottages contain a kitchen with oven, microwave and fridge, and some have a dining area on the terrace. Kitchenware and BBQ facilities are provided.
A third of the farm is mountains which offer birdwatching and hiking and cycling trails. Occasionally a leopard can be seen. The Garden Route is 100 km away, while Bo Kouga Mountain Retreat is 24 km from the R62. There is free parking on site.
