More than 30 vendors bring a variety of fresh local and organic produce, all natural meats, milk and cheeses, free range eggs, bakery goods, homemade foods and items, and much more to this open air market. There is also music at the market and various special events throughout the season. There are 3 markets presently active: The Downtown Evanston Farmers Market is on Saturdays from about the beginning of May to the beginning of November from 7:30 am until 1 pm. The West End Market is on Saturdays from the beginning of June until the end of October from 8:30 am to 3 pm at the intersection of Church Street and Dodge Avenue (I 94 Exit 37B/W Dempster Street): The Ridgeville Market at Ridge Avenue and South Blvd is on Wednesdays from mid-May until mid-September from 4 pm until 7 pm until September 1st when it goes from 3 pm until dusk until the end of the season. A 4th market specializing in organic produce is planned at Independence Park at Stewart and Central Streets; check back for additional information.
