The cave here is listed as a National Natural Landmark, but visitors will find plenty of natural beauty above ground also. An overlook gives a great view of the Meramec River, plus there hiking trails and numerous recreational opportunities. The camp area offers modern restrooms, hot showers, a laundry, an amphitheater, a playground, and a dump station.
