This 450,000 hectare park will give visitors that true "wilderness" experience and it's a favorite among fishing enthusiasts, canoe trippers, and naturalists. Besides the abundant flora and fauna, the park is also home to one of the largest herds of woodland caribou in the Providence. There are about 1000 backcountry campsites and they are only accessed by canoe. Permits are required and can be obtained by phone, on line, or at the field office. There is also a camp store available This campground is closed during the offseason. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
