Padre Island National Seashore

Padre Island National Seashore
Park Road
Corpus Christi,
Texas 78418

The longest undeveloped barrier island left in the world, this 130,434 acre natural area is also unique in that it is one of the most significant nesting beaches in the country for the endangered Kemp's Ridley sea turtles. Fifty campsites are available on a first come, first served basis. There is a gray water dump station and potable water at the entrance to the campground. A camping permit is required and can be obtained from patrolling rangers, the campground host, the entrance station, or at the Malaquite Visitor Center. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.

Please note: While we strive to keep our listings updated, we recommend that you always call ahead to make sure the place you are visiting is still in business, at the same location, and has the same hours of operation. Do you have a favorite natural or organic place that we don't have listed yet? Tell us about your favorite place, or let us know any comments or feedback you have by sending us an email. Thank you!
