This water oriented 1,000 acre park has one of only 3 access points to the Potomac River in northern Virginia, and many other features make this a popular recreation area also, with a "treehouse" playground area, mini-golf, an outdoor freeform pool, plenty of bird and wildlife, and hiking trails. Campsites have grills, fire rings, picnic tables, and a camp store, restrooms, hot showers, a laundry, and a dump station are close by.
